Summary

N2 gas adsorption method can measure the surface area and the pore size of materials (e.g. porous materials). The surface area and the pore size distribution can be calculated using BET equation and BJH method respectively.

Measurements

Adsorbents: Nitrogen, Argon, Krypton, etc…
Total Surface Area Range: > 0.1 m2 (Nitrogen), > 0.01 m2 (Krypton)
*(Total Surface Area) = (Surface Area) x (Sample Weight)
Pore Size Range: 0.4 ~ 100 nm

*ANAC cannot accept samples which adsorb corrosion gases and molecules contained halogen.
