Super-accelerated Weatherability Tests

Summary

Several types of high power weatherability testing machines which can shorten the time of weatherability test have been developed. As a result, ANAC can provide customers within one month with the evaluation result which is equivalent to one-year outdoor exposure.

Light Sources

  • Super-Xenon :x3 light intensity comparing to conventional Xenon
  • Metal Halide : x10 light intensity comparing to SWO
  • QUV (UV fluorescent) : Spectral light intensity is concentrated around 310 nm which cause deterioration efficiently.

Note: These tests may cause different deterioration mechanism to solar radiation for some materials.
