Nano Indentation Test - PET film -




The AFM system with the indentation probe which consists of the transducer and the indentation tip can measure hardness at nanometer level. The tip is indented to a sample under the load controlled by the transducer and the indentation depth is detected. Then the hardness and the elastic modulus are calculated.


Nano indentation test can measure the indentation hardness of thin films which ultra-microhardness tester cannot measure.
